Alexander Hamilton

This book sheds light on the remarkable contributions of two young lieutenant colonels, John Laurens and Alexander Hamilton, during the American Revolution. When America struggled because of a workforce shortage, these two heroes took a bold step. They suggested creating an army of enslaved people who would fight for America’s freedom and their own. This strategy was considered quite impossible to execute. Still, this bold step was witnessed to be progressive and based on the solid belief in the equality of every citizen, including black people. They were among some of the early leading abolitionists in American history.
